Jamie Klein

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Jamie graduated from the Thompson Rivers University Animal Health Technology Program and her main areas of interest in small animal medicine is exotics focusing on Reptile and Avian Medicine, Canine Reproduction and Parturition management and support, and Wildlife Rehabilitation.  She is Fear Free Certified and this training is obvious in the low stress handling of patients in her care.
She has extensive knowledge in a vast array of routine and specialized surgical procedures, critical care management, exotic husbandry, canine reproduction, and pediatric/neonatal care. This experience is an asset especially during emergency procedures and while managing high risk anaesthetic patients.
Jamie has been actively involved with the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club of Canada and the Canadian Kennel Club in conformation, agility, and breeding of her beloved tollers for over 25 years.
Her hobbies include enjoying her lizards and tortoises, snuggling with her parrot, and spending time on her hobby farm with her Nubian dairy goats and award winning huacaya Alpacas.
