Distracted drivers are a concern for everyone and we all know not to use our cell phones while driving. But there are other distractions that can cause safety concerns as well. We have all witnessed small dogs sitting on the drivers lap with their little heads out of the window. Do they have full control of the steering wheel? The best place for your pet is either inside a crate secured in place by the seat belt or in a harness designed to be attached to a seat belt.
